Tin Box printing has special requirements for inks.

(1) requires ink with good adhesion and mechanical properties

As Tinplate Box printing products are eventually made into food cans, toys, metal photo frames and chemical products barrels, cans, need to be cut, bending and stretching process, thus requiring printing inks to tinplate have good adhesion and the corresponding mechanical properties. In order to improve ink adhesion, printing before the first need for tinplate white priming. White is the base color of all images and has a very high brightness. (2) Requirements for white ink

Tinplate surface is silvery white (or yellow), with a metallic luster, before printing color graphics, the surface needs to be painted white or printed white, limited by the ink coverage capacity, monochrome machines often need to be printed white by 2 times, the whiteness of up to 75%. Whiteness as an important indicator of the quality of tinplate printing products, requiring white ink with good adhesion to the primer, by repeated high-temperature baking without yellowing, high-temperature resistant steam are not out of color. The tinplate is coated with primer, which can increase the adhesion to the tinplate and have good bonding power to the white ink. Commonly used primer is epoxy amine-based, with light color, by repeated baking does not yellow, non-aging characteristics and good flexibility, impact resistance of the process performance. Because the tinplate surface does not penetrate water and solvents, the need to dry after baking, so its ink should be heat-curing type. The coloring power and durability of the pigment requirements are high. Printing iron ink should have the basic properties of general offset ink, in addition to the characteristics of the printed iron should also have heat resistance, ink film adhesion, impact resistance, good hardness, steaming resistance and light resistance.
